The short version
Handai (iOS bundle and Android package io.touchpnt.handai) is a free game published by Touchpnt LLC ("we", "us"). It has no accounts and no sign-up, and your settings and progress stay on your device. Handai is supported by advertising: starting with version 1.1, it shows ads served by Google AdMob, and Google may collect device identifiers, approximate location and ad-interaction data to serve and measure those ads. Touchpnt LLC does not collect, sell or share personal information itself. Version 1.0 contains no ads and makes no network requests.
What the app stores on your device
Handai saves a few settings so the game remembers them between launches:
- Music on/off, sound effects on/off, vibration on/off
- Your best level reached (used for checkpoints) and any items you have collected
- Your advertising consent choices
This information stays on your device in the app's private storage. It is never sent to Touchpnt. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Advertising (version 1.1 and later)
- Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). There are two placements only: an optional rewarded video you can choose to watch to retry a level, and an interstitial after each 10-level checkpoint. No ads are shown during play.
- To serve and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (Apple IDFA or Android advertising ID), your IP address and the approximate (city-level) location derived from it, device and app information (model, operating system version, app version), how you interact with ads (views and taps), and crash and performance diagnostics from the ads software. This data goes to Google and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. Touchpnt never receives your name, email, contacts or precise location.
- Consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Handai shows a consent form before loading ads. You can decline personalised ads. A "Privacy options" entry in the app's Settings for changing that choice is coming in a 1.1 update; until then, reinstalling the app shows the form again.
- iOS: before the ad network may use your identifier for tracking, Handai asks through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline, and change your answer any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ads personalisation in Settings > Google > Ads (on some phones Settings > Privacy > Ads).

What the app does not do
- Collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, or any personal information for Touchpnt's own purposes.
- Require an account or sign-in.
- Run analytics or crash-reporting services of its own. If any are added, this policy will say so first.
- Sell personal data.
Permissions
iOS: none, apart from the optional tracking permission described above. Android: internet access and the advertising-ID permission, both used only by the ads software. Version 1.0 requests none.
Children
Handai is a general-audience game that is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. The ad network's child-directed and age-appropriate settings are configured as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
